PEC Introduction
Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) is a professional body that recognizes the regulation of engineering education and engineering profession in Pakistan. It was established in 1976 by the PEC Act, 1976. The Council also registers professional engineers and engineers and licenses engineering firms for consultancy and construction/operation in Pakistan.
The Pakistan Engineering Council represents the country’s engineering community and supports the Government of Pakistan at the federal and provincial levels. It also acts as a think tank for the government and seeks to establish scientific standards for engineering innovations and services.
It is headquartered in Islamabad and has regional branches and liaison offices in major cities of Pakistan. The Council became a provisional member of the Washington Treaty in 2010 and was admitted as a full member in 2017.
In 2011, it became a provisional member of the International Professional Engineers (IntPE) Agreement (IPEA) and a full member in 2018.

Senior Director MIS
- Qualification: B.E, BSC degree in Computer Engineering/ Computer System Engineering/ Software Engineering, MSC, MCS, BCS or minimum of 16 years of relevant qualification
- Experience: Minimum 17 years post-qualification experience
- Age Limite: Maximum 55 years
- Highly qualified, energetic, and motivated individuals across Pakistan, including Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Punjab, can apply. Selected individuals have to perform their duties anywhere in Pakistan.
